Money is not a topic we like talking about. Many people say they find it easier to discuss sex. It’s a topic tied up in a lot of emotions. How we relate to money is often tied to other big, hut-button issues like self-esteem, independence, success, love, generosity, stability, etc. In addition to being a repository for new about Money Habitudes, this blog will endeavor to track a host of issues interrelated to the work we do and the reasons that Money Habitudes is used. This includes behavioral finance and economics, the psychology of money, neurofinance, financial therapy, and the typical and innovative ways that money is tackled across a variety of professions and contexts, including therapy and counseling, financial planning, money coaching, asset building, unbanked and underbanked,schools and youth programs, marriage, premarriage and relationship programs, community and military programs, career and job counseling, bankruptcy, credit and debt counseling, homebuying and housing, and financial education and stewardship in faith-based communities.

We’ll also look at innovative ways that people are tackling difficult topics, especially how to talk about money, as well as behavior change strategies around money and the overlapping relationship, career and communication skills.
